Ceasa industrial softeners are meant for the preparation of water (softening) for large flows (volume of the ion exchanger from 1000 litres on).
They consist of a tank with the ion exchanger, the steering valve and a separate salt tank (tank for the salt solution).
Industrial softeners are available in the single or double version. The double version means that we have constant water softening. The softener consists of two cartridges with ion resin. Half of the ion resin (1st cartridge) is operational, while the second half (2nd cartridge) is standing still – in the regeneration phase. Functions are controlled via the steering valve (Fleck).
Water preparation – binding Ca and Mg ions – takes place during water flow through the layers of the ion exchanger. The used ion exchanger is automatically regenerated with the Sodium chloride (salt) solution. The ion exchanger is thus again activated.
Special attention is required for the correct selection of the device, because this affects its correct and faultless operations. The choice depends on the wishes and needs of the user and on the manner of steering (volumetric, time, electronic – combination).
The right choice is a precondition for perfect and long-term functioning of the device.
