We prepared the Project for execution PZI for municipal utility company Komunalno podjetje Ptuj d.o.o. and supplied and implemented the installation of equipment for the filtration (removal of iron and manganese) of drinking water.

We used the current condition, the submitted water analysis and required standards on the quality of drinking water as the basis for project engineering.

There was a deep well with accompanying equipment (shut-off devices, air vent valve, flow rate meter, fittings…) at location Lancova vas. Because the water contained iron and manganese in concentrations, which exceeded admissible levels, the water had to be treated. The water treatment includes deferization (removal of iron), demanganization (removal of manganese) and water filtration.

The municipal public utility company built a new shaft parallel to the existing shaft. The new shaft includes the necessary technological equipment for water treatment. Water is diverged from the pipe work in the old shaft, treated appropriately in the new shaft and then returned to the pipe work respectively distribution.
